It looks like the weatherman knew that our new season boots were about to drop; in the last week temperatures seem to have fallen faster than Santa down a chimney after one too many sherries. If you’re feeling the cold then cast your eyes over our new arrivals – we have vegan boots for every possible occasion in a variety of faux leather and vegan suede fabrics.

Betty, £249.00

While we all need a pair of reliable, cosy flats at this time of year, there’s surely space in everyone’s life for a pair of killer heels, too. Our Betty boots ooze the kind of low-key glamour that works just as well at a glitzy evening event as it does in an out-of-the-way country pub on a wintry afternoon. The super-soft vegan microfibre faux-suede upper adds a relaxed luxe edge to the vampy heel and subtle concealed platform, making these boots perfect for day and night – ideal if you need to go straight from the office to the bar without getting all Superman in the staff toilets.

Wear them with: Play up the ‘70s styling with a vintage A-line midi skirt in soft blue, cream and camel tartan; a fluffy cream roll-neck (you can get some great synthetic knits these days) and a long, chunky scarf. If you want to go full Annie Hall add a wide-brimmed fedora and for added warmth pull on a pair of thick, ribbed tights. Finish the look with a camel-coloured trench coat in a fluid, relaxed cut.

Rinaldi, £165.00

Whether you’re trudging about town doing the last of your Christmas shopping or skipping through the shops as the first winter sales hit, add a touch of modern glamour to your look with the Rinaldi boots in glossy vegan patent faux leather. The sturdy block heel and flexible sole keep things practical while the softly pointed almond toe brings a dynamic edge. The insoles are padded for maximum comfort, making sure that you can get all your errands done in immaculate style. Like all our shoes, these boots are handmade in Spain by factories that we know well and visit often.

Wear them with: Keep to clean lines and modern fabrics with a pair of super-warm organic cotton and bamboo knit leggings. These boots look great with some chunky socks just visible over the top (and your toes will thank you, too). An oversized Fair Isle jumper in monochrome tones and a big, padded ski jacket bring the look together with effortless off-duty style.

Chelsea, £145.00

We can’t tell you how excited we are to have one of our favourite boots back in stock. The Chelsea boot is the ultimate winter style if you’re looking for a perfect combination of classic lines, modern detailing, weather-resistance and vegan ethics. Handmade from beautiful faux shiny black vegan leather, the Chelsea boots bring a touch of glamour and quality to any outfit. The unfussy lines and glossy finish provide a fresh update to a well-loved classic, while the three-centimetre heel keeps things grown-up. The vegan patent is water resistant and wears exceptionally well in any weather, which is good news because you’ll wear these again and again throughout the winter months. They’re also a great transition piece for Spring, when you can wear them with a soft floral dress and thick tights.

Wear them with: These boots are ideal with skinny jeans, either rolled up to reveal a little ankle on a warmer day, or tucked in with toasty socks when the temperature plummets. We love them with a soft lumberjack shirt worn under a chunky knit – layer over a thermal vest if the weather is getting particularly arctic. An oversized boyfriend coat and an enormous tartan scarf look great if you’re heading outside to battle the cold.

Collette, £175.00

Here at Beyond Skin HQ we are suckers for a classic black bootie with a low heel and an edgy pointed toe. This season’s Colette, in contrasting stripes of soft vegan suede and faux patent leather are a personal favourite. When you’re feeling a little less than glamorous after a Christmas party and need to pull yourself together for work or even another social engagement, these boots will provide an instant hit of well-groomed chic without being cripplingly high. We love this modern take on clean 1960’s lines combined with a practical heel height and a snuggly padded insole.

Wear them with: Zero-in on texture rather than colour, and keep your look sharp with an all-black outfit. Opaque black tights in a matt finish are perfect with a mini-skirted shift dress. Opt for one with an embellished, ‘60s-style Peter Pan collar and add a fluffy cropped jumper on top for extra warmth. For something a little cuter, why not try a simple pinafore dress layered over a turtleneck? This look works really well with a boxy faux fur coat and a vintage-inspired doctor’s bag dangling from the crook of your arm.

Edi, £185.00

If there’s one thing that most girls fish out of the back of their wardrobes as the weather begins to turn, it’s a good pair of flat, knee-high boots. This is one style staple that is really worth investing in, because a good pair of elegant, practical boots will last you for years. Our Edi boots in black vegan suede are a perfect example – the classic styling will remain fresh for many seasons; the soft microfibre upper won’t perish like animal skin and the four-centimetre block heel won’t get stuck between cobbles or wear down to nothing like its slimmer sisters.

Wear it with: While these boots look fabulous over skinny jeans, at the moment we’re loving them with thick tights and a jersey wrap-dress. This laid-back luxe look is great for weekends away or days out with the family. For added warmth throw on a cable-knit cardigan when you’re indoors, or an oversized cape-style scarf draped about your shoulders if you’re heading outside. On bright, crisp winter days, play up your diva credentials with a pair of giant sunglasses and a floppy hat.
