Christmas 2015 is officially completed! What seemed liked Mission Impossible is now Mission Accomplished. The dishes are washed, the toys have been assembled and the Booja Booja chocolate is nearly all gone (sob). Now it seems only natural to sit back on our armchairs in front of the fire and reminisce at Beyond Skin’s 2015 highlights over a glass of bubbly. Care to join us?

Beyond Skin in the newspapers

Beyond Skin won a plethora of items in the press, which we’re mighty proud of. In May, Marie Claire included us in their 21 Stylish Ethical Fashion Brands You Need To Know About. In June, we were included in Emma Broomfield’s piece for The Sunday Times about green and ethical businesses. In September, our black faux suede loafers Kate (£99) were featured in the Daily Mail’s article on vegan fashion. In October, we made it to The Telegraph’s Best Vegan Fashion Labels. We’re a hot topic, don’t you know!

Beyond Skin at Brighton Fashion Week

We loved being part of the SS16 Fashion Weeks. In June, our heels were strutted down the catwalk in the Sustain show with Novel Beings, in a showcase of eco-friendly fashion talent. We’re a big fan of the socks and sandals combo, because of the fun of colour-matching, and for the overriding cuteness of the look. Some of these styles are in stock with savings of £80 at the moment, such as the Saskia print wedge heel with either a zebra or diamond design, so get yours now in time for when the sun turns up the heat again.

Natalie Portman wearing Beyond Skin in Harper’s Bazaar

Hanging in our Hall of Fame in a decadent gold frame is this stunning shot of Natalie Portman wearing Beyond Skin for Harper’s Bazaar. In their August 2015’s US edition, this A-lister superstar and long-time vegan wore our big-bowed Ellen high courts in red for the cover fashion shoot. The whole shoot is outstandingly elegant, and we couldn’t be prouder to be included. Coincidentally, these Ellen high court stilettos in ivory are pre-orderable for a £20 discount right now for a mid-January delivery, so click quick!

Natalie Portman wearing Beyond Skin in Marie Claire

Rest assured, you’re not seeing double: Natalie Portman wore our shoes again for Marie Claire’s September cover story! This time she wore Alice, designed by Alice Lambert-Gorwyn, the winner of our competition with PETA for the best shoe design. It’s lovely to see Beyond Skin where we belong: in the glossies. Right now there are some sizes still in stock. #JustSayin.

Beyond Skin featured in PETA’s Vegan Fashion Lookbook

In October, PETA released its Vegan Fashion Lookbook shot in Downtown LA, where our silver Charlie plimsolls were modelled by Vaute Couture creator Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart. She looks trés chic in our flats, worn with Vaute’s vegan felt hat and sweater, a Matt & Nat vegan Chanda backpack and Stella McCartney ankle grazer jeans. And we have good news: these Charlie pumps are currently in the sale at £95, down from £135! You’re welcome.

Our Farah Boots win Most Stylish Boots in PETA’s Vegan Fashion Awards

In November, our faux sheepskin vegan over-the-knee Farah boots became Vegan Fashion Award Winners for being the most stylish. These show-stopping vegan boots score top marks not only for style, but also for warmth. Lined with faux sheepskin, these boots are the ideal weapon of choice against those winter chills. These beauties are currently in stock too, so snap up your pair before they disappear!

Torrey DeVitto wearing Beyond Skin

Actress & former model Torrey DeVitto donned our navy metallic Charlie plimsolls & tweeted us the photo in November! She rocked the smart casual look with a simply fluffy jumper and skinnies with our understated luxury vegan pumps. We were beyond pleased that she helped us spread the word that vegan fashion can be killer without the cruelty. Plus, you can save £30 in the sale on these exact shoes, and we have them in stock! High fives all round.

Becoming officially registered with The Vegan Society

Of course we’ve always been a vegan company, but this November we were officially registered as a member of The Vegan Society, alongside vegan and cruelty-free beauty and cosmetics ranges and other ethical fashion brands with the same compassion for animals as us. Now we’re Vegetarian Society Approved, PETA Approved Vegan and Vegan Society Trademarked: full house!
